I love my new Gateway computer! It boots up in about 12-15 seconds! As I loathe windows 8, I did download the 'classic shell' interface which makes it look like windows 7 desktop with the added benefits of faster boot times and better security features of windows 8. The graphics from the HDMI port look stunning on my 42" 1080p TV and offers dual screen capabilities. It also is the most quiet computer that I ever owned in terms of fan noise. So far...happy customer and hopefully I will enjoy this for years to come as I did my old Gateway which is still running after 10 years of daily service.

Love the computer. Not so sure about Windows 8. Like 7 best program. But Gateway computers are hard to beat. Should have come with more directions like my first one. It had a nice manual, Great for the money

Excellent speed, great video, SUPER fast wireless and it even has the new AC Wifi. I have not seen any other computers under $1000 with this feature. It has USB 3.0, which I used to connect my old hard drive to. The transfer speed is amazing. The keyboard is ridiculous, why would any company put dark gray keys on a black keyboard without having it at least lighted. The first thing to do is break out an old keyboard or buy a new one. The setup was simple, the new Windows 8.1 takes a little getting used to if you are not familiar with it. It is not totally loaded with bloatware, there are minimal extra programs loaded and the ones that are there are useful. Overall completely satisfied.
